Light and Color - From the depths of the sea to the peaks of the earth
The myriad colors and surfaces of fired vessels result from chemical and thermal interactions between the clay body and the glaze(s), often result in a fanciful play of light and color reminiscent of landscapes, nightscapes, and seascapes I have glimpsed in fleeting moments while traveling around the world.
